Abstract

Changes of Legal Position of Czech Universities after 1990 - the Road to their Autonomy.

This text focuses on the situation in the Czechoslovak academic sphere after the Velvet revolution. The author, who cooperated at the discussions on new university bill as a rector of the Charles University in Prague, describes the development of Czechoslovak universities heading to their new autonomy in new political system. One of the aims is the development on the universities during and shortly after the Velvet revolution and handling with the communist-cooperating professors
