Abstract

A Renewal of Universities in Ukraine after 1944.

The article focuses on the Ukrainian universities in the 1940’s. It describes the situation of the universities before 1941, their war-caused evacuation to the eastern parts of Soviet Union and their return and reopening after 1945. The years 1945 brought new organization structure of the universities to the Soviet Union political system.
